maaf kerana setelah sekian lama tidak menulis apa-apa disini, sejak kebelakangan ini seperti tiada kemahuan untuk menulis sesuatu, even lecture notes pun cam malas je nak tulis, hehe..but anyway, thanks to eena n member2 yg lain, sebab still lg bg push, tolakan, n segala macam tekanan utk aku update blog nih (urm, is that a good thing? haha.. ) coz aku rasa dgn adanya mende2 camtuh, baru la bersemangat (lebih kurang la... ) skit aku nk menulis, huhu..
anyway, my last update is about my industrial training session, and that has been such a long time ago already (that rambling-post doesn't count ek, time tuh aku ada inner problem, huhu..). oleh itu, utk post kali nih, aku akan cuba menulis apa2 yg patut, yg berlaku kt aku selama nih...
tesis...
like all other final year students, aku pun dh mula menyibukkan diri dgn tesis yg dh lama aku dpt. n thankfully, um engineering students like me doesn't have to think for da title of our thesis, b'coz it had already being prepared by our beloved lecturer (except nizam, as he had proposed a title to his respective lecturer, which has something to do with his industrial training place, tnb berhad ). and after a throughly thinking (lebih kurang la, sbb aku pun cam pick ikut suka je, at least tajuk tuh aku paham la, tau camne nk wat tu lain kira, hoho.. ) i've selected a few selection of titles, to be chosen again by our thesis moderator. and thankfully again, for this year, mr haider, the thesis moderator, said that he will assign the appropriate title depending on our level of cgpa, meaning that only the best student will get the hard title. and as i can only obtain a low level cgpa, my thesis title is also a low level title. but at least it is quite interesting, to me la, hehe...
my thesis title is "development of a real-time fault monitoring system". in short, i have to develop a system, both hardware and software, to monitor the fault of a signal for a selected plant, in real time. kind of a bit straight forward kan..sebab tuh la aku dapat tajuk nih, can't imagine kalau aku dapat tajuk yang susah2 tuh, camne la aku nak wat thesis nih, huhu...
but lucky for me, aku dapat supervisor dr yang, a chinese yang aktif dalam palapes, menyebabkan dia nih jadi sebijik cam orang melayu, cakap melayu fasih, muka pun cam melayu gak. n maybe ada kaitan la, sbb 5 out of 6 students under dia nih semua melayu, n da other chinese student tuh pun cukup fasih cakap melayu, as dia nih dulu tinggal di kalangan orang melayu kat kampung. so, setiap kali perjumpaan thesis, kitorang cam borak-borak banyak dalam bahasa melayu je, tu yang best tuh, haha...
and as for this dr yang, dia nampak garang, tegas n a lot more sifat yang agak menakutkanla, pada pandangan luarnya. tp lepas a few thesis meetings, kitorang cam dah nampak da good side of him, in fact a really good side of him. every wednesday is our thesis day, meaning that kitorang kena stay kat dalam lab, from 9 am until 5 pm (cam dah keje lak, huhu...). and time nih la dr yang akan datang jumpa kitorang (lecturer yg jumpa budak utk thesis tuh, sepatutnya budak la cari lecturer, hehe... ), n kitorang akan bincangkan segala masalah yang timbul, apa2 yg perlu ditambahbaik, dan macam2 lg la.
dr yang gak ada suruh kitorang wat some kind of thesis planner, yg mana kitorang wat using microsoft project, dan kitorang sepatutnya follow planner tuh until da very end. as for this week, i am suppose to do the GUI part, and the problem is aku tak setel lg on da hardware part..sok nk jumpa dia xtau la mende nk ckp nih, huhu...
sarawak trip...
on da last thursday, kitorang student electrical engineering um seramai 30 orang ngn sorang guru pengiring, dh wat satu lawatan ke beberapa stesen janakuasa kt negeri sarawak. as i didn't have the pictures yet, aku just bole wrote a few things about it, as a picture can say a thousand word right, hehe...in short, kitorang sempat melawat dua stesen janakuasa elektrik kat sarawak, a coal-fired power plant kat sejingkat, and a hidro-power plant kat batang ai. and as i have been to a gas-thermal power plant kat connaught bridge for my industrial training aritu, aku dah dapat sedikit perbezaan la antara ketiga-tiga power plant nih. kalau nak ikut taraf kesusahan bekerja as an engineer, coal-fired adalah yg paling susah, kedua gas-thermal, n hidro-powered adalah power plant yg paling rileks. banyak lg la perbezaan ketara antara 3 jenis power plant nih, and i'll try to write something about it, kalo aku rajin la, huhu...but anyway, ini adalah kali kedua aku melawat kuching, sarawak. my first time is on my form 5, kitorang ada sertai satu seminar spm kat kuching. my impression on kuching, a nice place to relax, as the scenery is sangat2 lawa, menenangkan fikiran. tapi kalo nak enjoy2 berhibur tuh susah skit la, coz around 10pm bandar kuching dah senyap, the last bowling alley open smpi around kul 11pm je, and kalo kitorang pegi tgk wayang kul 11, there's only 4 of us dlm wayang tuh, hehe....
i guess that is all for today, sbb jam pun dah menunjukkn pukul 2am, and it is my bed time already, huhu...again, thanks for reading this, n again, i'll try to update more often (so eena, tegur la aku suru updet slalu, baru la aku rajin updet, hehe... )
